- Prepare the skin. Clean the intended area with an alcohol wipe or cotton pad. Gently exfoliate to help remove dead skin, then allow the area to dry.

- Cover the area. Cover the area with plastic wrap to help keep the cream in place.
- Wait. Leave the cream covered for 25–30 minutes. For larger body tattoo areas, leave for up to 60 minutes, following the product directions.
- Remove before your session. Remove the plastic wrap and wipe away any excess cream before beginning your tattoo session.
